Virginia Beach, VA (December 16, 2021) – Authorities reported delays and at least one injury after a tractor-trailer crashed on Virginia Beach Boulevard on Thursday, December 16.

According to a statement released by the Virginia State Police, power lines were down after the wreck, which involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle.

Virginia Beach Boulevard was closed from First Colonial to North Oceana Boulevard for about five hours, police added. There’s no word on injuries at this time, but police were at the scene investigating and paramedics were also dispatched to evaluate victims.

VSP troopers and officers with the Virginia Beach Police Department are continuing their investigation at this time.
