Virginia Beach, VA (November 7, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Virginia Beach area left one woman seriously injured on Saturday. At approximately 4:50 p.m., on November 7, the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on 25th Street.

Reports from the VBPD show that a pedestrian was walking on 25th Street near the intersection with Atlantic Avenue when they were struck by a vehicle.

The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the crash. Police and firefighters blocked off the roadway and redirected traffic out of the area as crews worked to treat the victim.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
