Virginia Beach, VA – Pedestrian Accident at 15th St & Pacific Ave Under Investigation

Virginia Beach, VA (May 27, 2022) – Virginia Beach Police confirmed that a pedestrian was involved in an accident on Thursday evening, May 26, at the Oceanfront, but officers have provided only limited details at this time.

Bradley K. Wesseler with Virginia Beach PD reported that the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of 15th Street and Pacific Avenue, located close to the Star of the Sea Catholic Church. As the investigation is still active, the department is not slated to release further details at this time.

News footage from the scene showed a number of police vehicles, an ambulance, and caution police tape surrounding the area. The VBPD is planning to provide further information in the coming days.
