Virginia Beach, VA (October 13, 2020) – An auto accident in Virginia Beach sent several people to local hospitals with injuries. Just after 4 p.m., on October 12, the Virginia Beach Fire responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Ferrell Parkway.
Reports from authorities show that several vehicles collided in the 5000 block of Ferrell Parkway for unknown reasons. The crash resulted in extensive delays throughout the area. The vehicles involved sustained extensive damage in the crash, prompting the request of further assistance from local authorities. Several people involved in the accident were injured.
Three adults and one child were transported to area hospitals for further treatment of injuries. The crash prompted the closure of all eastbound lanes of the highway as crews investigated. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
