Serious Car Accidents in Virginia
An estimated 1,000 people die in car accidents throughout the Commonwealth every single year and an additional 65,000 victims will be seriously injured.
Long after an accident, many victims continue to suffer from long-term physical issues or psychological trauma. This is particularly true if they endured a critical injury such as a traumatic brain injury, TBI, bone fracture, and spinal cord damage.
Even if you make every effort to drive defensively to protect yourself and other drivers, you can’t guarantee that others will be as considerate. Unfortunately, tens of thousands of people are left with debilitating injuries after these accidents. Wrecks that are caused by the negligence of another driver can leave victims in devastating circumstances.
Oftentimes, these victims require medical treatment and ongoing therapy lasting for months or years. As a result, victims may pay tens of thousands of dollars out of their own pockets.
