Chesapeake, VA (August 10, 2021) – One person was injured in an accident that occurred on Tuesday evening, August 10, and reportedly involved an overturned vehicle on Interstate 664 in Chesapeake.
Troopers with the Virginia State Police responded to the crash, which occurred in the northbound lanes of I-664 at mile marker 19, around 11:00 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that two vehicles collided on the left side of the highway, causing one of the cars to roll over. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and transported at least one person to an area medical center via ambulance. It appears that at least one other victim was treated at the scene or transported to an area medical center.
The crash is still under investigation, and further details about those involved have not been provided.
